Derek’s relationship with the blade division goes back to the origin in 2015. He worked as an assistant to Rob in product development while continuing to work in sister company Ace Limited’s production department. He soon transitioned to full time and settled in very quickly. As an avid hunter and fisherman, Derek’s focus and passion for blade craftsmanship was undeniable. Currently, Derek has taken point in the construction of fixed blade knives and places the end user experience at the forefront of his purpose. Derek provides logistics, Quality Control, production planning and process development for the Blade Division.
