Nick Collier’s love for blades reaches as far back as his first Cub Scout pocketknife; so much so that he still has that very knife! Ever since then, Nick has been fascinated with the outdoors, hunting, and camping. Now helping to lead his son’s Boy Scout Troop, Nick continues teach kids about how to use tools created in the Outlier shop safely and effectively as well as basic outdoor skills. His connection to the knife community has only grown stronger since the blade division’s birth.

Nick’s history with sister company DoubleStar Corp. reaches back to early 2002. Starting his journey as low man on the totem pole and taking advantage of every opening to move up, he now leads the marketing team for Outlier Knife Company as well as DoubleStar Corp. Nick’s experience in the firearms world spans from over 20 years in the industry. He has managed production, taught instructional courses on the AR15 and M16 platforms via the DoubleStar Training Academy, and is currently the Captain of the DoubleStar Competitive Shooting Team, which competes all over the world in several shooting disciplines such as 2 and 3-Gun, USPSA, and more!
